Javier Carranza is recognized as world class geo data scientist , an open government expert and and a civic tech opendata advocate. Carranza is the founder and director since 2008 of [GeoCensos](http://www.geocensos.com) a Latin American based geo data foundation that analyzes geospatial technology trends , formulates projects to aid government data agencies and organizes data events, like the Mapps Hackathon. Javier regularly gives keynote speeches and hosts dynamic workshops with the statistic community and civic tech groups . In 2017, he was recognized as the most influential civic tech leader in Latin America and the Caribbean by ACOPI, an industrial union of small and medium entreprises from Latin America. Javier is an active contributor to blogs and maps in the Openstreetmap community that creates the open and editable map of the world.

Bruno Aracaty is an entrepreneur and co-founder at Colab.re, a social network for civic engagement that offers local governments workflow management and consultation tools to bring collaboration to public management. Colab.re was the winner of the 2013 AppMyCity competition and was also elected one of the Top 5 m-Government and Participation Solutions by UN-WSA Awards. Aracaty is also co-founder of Sem Dengue / Sin Zika / Break Zika, a crowdsourcing platform that aims to predict and fight epidemics. Bruno Aracaty has participated in entrepreneurial programs by Endeavor, acts as a mentor and fellow for social impact programs in Brazil, and was elected the fourth most innovative Brazilian in 2014.
Bruno has a degree in business from UPE and post-graduate education in finance from INSPER, and specialized in venture capital at UC Berkeley–Haas School of Business.

Sussy Lungo is the Deputy Regional Director at PASMO/PSI. PSI/Guatemala works to improve prevention of HIV/AIDS using social marketing, as part of PASMO (Pan American Social Marketing Association). PASMO is a network of locally-registered social marketing entities in the seven countries of Central America, with headquarters in Guatemala. Since then, PSI/PASMO Guatemala has added voluntary counseling and testing services, and family planning to its portfolio.

Alicia Juarrero is president and founder of VectorAnalytica. With a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Miami, she is currently an associate scholar at Georgetown University Medical Center’s Neuroethics Studies Program. The author of numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and the book Dynamics in Action (MIT Press, 1999; paperback edition, 2002), Juarrero is the co-editor of Reframing Complexity: Perspectives from North and South (ISCE, 2007); and Emergence, Self-Organization and Complexity: Precursors and Prototypes (ISCE, 2008). Juarrero has been invited to serve as keynote speaker and present at many national and international conferences and has also organized several international conferences on the theory of complex dynamical systems, her area of specialization. In 2002 the CASE/Carnegie Foundation named Juarrero U.S. Professor of the Year.

Cynthia Hellen is recognized worldwide as a businesswoman, producer / director, and technologist.

Hellen is the founder and CEO of SMPLCT Lab (pronounced “simplicity lab”) a New York-based design laboratory that creates sustainable products, services, and experiences for people and the planet. The mission of SMPLCT Lab is to improve life, build communities, and protect the environment. Hellen regularly gives keynote speeches and host workshops to conferences, corporations, universities, nonprofits, and community groups on women entrepreneurs, “frugal” innovation, and startups. In 2017, she was honored with the “Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Civic Contribution” for her work as a businesswoman and technology. In 2016, she was honored with the “Phenomenal Women Award” by Baruch College for her leadership and commitment as an entrepreneur. In 2015, she was awarded The Coaching Fellowship for being an outstanding young leader. In 2014, Hellen became the chapter leader of the New York Women Social Entrepreneurs (NYWSE), a non-profit organization that promotes young women entrepreneurs social. In 2013, she became an “Expert Speaker” of the United States Department of State where she travels around the world working with local communities. 2012, she became the recipient of a “Bloomberg Businessweek and Sandbox Network Fellowship” for empowering women in a remarkable way. His work has been shaped nationally and internationally. She is a mentor at Columbia University, Athena Center for Leadership Studies at Barnard College, Harvard University, and Harvard Business School. Cynthia is an active volunteer at Project Sunshine, a nonprofit organization that creates fun activities for children living with medical problems.
